Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute is where CLACUnion, Merit Ontario, Ontario Electrical League and Progressive Contractors Association train. Students are trained by industry professionals to meeting today’s construction standards.
The first step to entering an apprenticeship in Ontario is to graduate from an industry recognized training program; qualify for an industry job board like the www.4openshop.ca job board, where the industry hires apprentices and journeyman in Ontario.

Apply with 3 Steps:
Step 1 You will be required to provide the following documents:
1. A resume
2. Two pieces of valid Government Identification
3. Two letters of work references
4. A copy of your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), GED or equivalent Please note that applicants who have not acquired an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, GED or equivalent are required to write an Admissions Entrance Test. Step 2 Onsite tests may include:
1. An aptitude test
2. A Mathematics test
3. An Admissions Entrance Test Please allow 45 minutes to 1.5 hours for each appointment.
Step 3 The application review and process time is 1-2 weeks.
