Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship Program

This program is offered at the Cambridge campus.

Carpenters construct, erect, install, maintain and repair structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Students will apply basic principles of construction layout with the fundamental mathematics skills to solve trade-related problems.

Students who complete our structured Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship program will receive theory instruction together with the hands-on training methodology taught by highly trained instructors. Areas of study include; safety, servicing and installation methods, building codes and blueprint reading.

Program length: 18 weeks
