Gas Appliance Service technicians work for appliance dealers, independent appliance service companies, department stores, appliance manufacturers’ service departments and gas and electric utility companies. Students are employed by appliance sales companies, wholesalers, large apartment owners, smaller independent service companies and may go on to become self-employed.
